Climate change is both a problem of the commons and geopolitics, an existential threat that transcends borders and traditional international political affairs. Without strong collective action, cooperation, and transnational agreements, this threat will continue to grow and impact societies around the world. Global governance can become a rallying cry of the people and mainstream politicians to take decisive collective action to tackle this existential threat.
