Bakhmut falls, Erdogan leads and DeSantis blunders the launch of his White House Bid as hundreds of thousands flee fighting in Sudan... can the disorder be quelled or contained?

To many it was barely news when the World Meteorological Organisation announced that for the first time, global temperatures are more likely than not to reach 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.5 degrees Farenheit) within the next five years. In Russia, it was certainly news when the first Ukrainian partisan attacks on Russian soil in Belgorod with the aim of capturing Russian territory. Meanwhile, warring generals continue to battle in Sudan while the dust settles from yet another round of violence between Israel and Gaza.
